Eric Church to headline Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff at Caesars Superdome
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Award-winning country music singer Eric Church is set to headline the Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff at the Caesars Superdome.
According to a release, the kickoff will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31.
The musical and entertainment celebration will mark the official start of the 2024 college football season.

In 2023, the inaugural Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff featured performances from Garth Brooks, Lainey Wilson and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
Country artists Thomas Rhett, Ashley McBryde and Jon Pardi are slated to hit the stage, followed by Eric Church to close out the show.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
