After playing a solo acoustic residency at his Nashville bar Chief’s earlier this summer, Eric Church will return to the honky-tonk with his full band for special SiriusXM live performance on Sept. 30.

The concert, set for Chief’s intimate Neon Steeple venue, aims to evoke the close-quarters confines of the country singer’s early bars-and-clubs days. It also celebrates Church’s Outsiders Radio, ch. 740 for SiriusXM listeners, and will air live on the channel on Monday, Sept. 30, at 10 p.m. ET. (The performance will also be able to stream on the SiriusXM app and will air again over three days in October on Y2Kountry, ch. 57.)

Church, with just his acoustic guitar, headlined 19 acoustic shows in the Neon Steeple earlier this year, playing hits, deep cuts, covers, and unreleased new songs, in a performance similar to his polarizing Stagecoach set in April.

“Just as the residency shows were completely their own, different than anything we bring to the stage on our tours, we’ve designed this concert to be its own unique experience,” Church said of the full-band concert. “Since Outsiders Radio started as a segment on SiriusXM’s The Highway nearly a decade ago, it’s been all about the music I’m a fan of and the artists who inspire me, and how that all informs our music – I’m excited to commemorate this milestone with a show for all us outsiders.”

SiriusXM subscribers can enter for a chance to win tickets to the concert; some tickets will also be earmarked for members of the Church Choir fan club.
