Eric Dane Shares the Harsh Reaction His 12-Year-Old Daughter Had While Watching Him on “Grey's Anatomy”
The 'Grey's Anatomy' actor is a dad to daughters Billie and Georgia, whom he shares with ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart

Billie Beatrice Dane, Eric Dane and Georgia Geraldine DaneEric Dane just got seriously humbled.
In an interview with Variety, the Euphoria actor, 51, revealed the gut-wrenching question his 12-year-old daughter Georgia asked her dad after watching him play "McSteamy" in Grey's Anatomy.
"My 12-year-old, when she started watching it a couple of years ago looked at me and said, ‘Dad, where did your abs go?’ ” Dane shared with a laugh.
He added, “She was serious. She wasn’t making a joke.”

The dad of two then insisted that with a little "effort" his abs could come right back, and his daughter's inquiry has inspired him to do just that.
“I just need to put some more effort in,” Dane said. “I have a climber but I’m not using it as much as I should. I am going to get back on that thing.”
Dane is also a dad to daughter Beatrice, 14, and shares both daughters with his ex-wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart.
As a guest on the June 3 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Dane spoke more about his daughters and their obsession with their dad's medical drama series. The star told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that he “can’t get away” from discussing the series with his girls.

Eric DaneWhen asked about whether he has seen any of the new episodes of Grey’s, Dane said he had seen a “few episodes,” but his two daughters “have seen every episode.”
“They’ve watched everything,” he continued, confirming that they found the show on a streaming platform.
Dane also touched upon what it was like to revisit the show, while his daughters experienced it for the first time. “I was kinda there when it happened, so my attitude was like I don’t want to see it because then you start looking at things you shouldn’t be looking at."
