Erykah Badu Hilariously Responds To Iggy Azalea On Twitter

Of course Iggy Azalea’s suspected response to Erykah Badu’s Soul Train Awards joke wouldn’t go unnoticed by FatBellyBella herself. Following the debut of the aforementioned event on Sunday (Nov. 29), host of the night, Badu, cleverly etched in a joke about the Australian artist. “What you doing is definitely not rap,” the “Phone Down” vocalist said to a roaring crowd.

A couple of days later, Iggy reportedly revealed her sentiments on the comment shared around social media, breaking her hiatus from Twitter to state, “We are days from 2016, but I came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, fu*king hell.”

Fast-forward to the present day (Dec. 4), and Badu loaded up mama’s gun to fire back at the “Work” artist. Sticking to the medium where Iggy responded, Badu took to her Twitter account early Friday morning to keep the joke alive. “…Well that’ll be the LAST time I send an uber for you! I can guaran DAMN tee you THAT.”

It’s safe to say that Ms. Badu has received the last word on the matter.
