Eva Longoria wants a “Desperate Housewives” reboot: 'I miss Wisteria Lane'
She played Gabrielle "Gabby" Solis on the ABC dramedy.
Eva Longoria wants to slip back into the drama of Desperate Housewives.
"Oh my God, yes! I would be the first to sign up for the reboot," Longoria told ET on Thursday at the premiere of her new Apple TV+ series, Land of Women.
Turns out that she's even approached creator Marc Cherry about it.
"I've told him a hundred times," she said. "I was like, 'Let's do it again. I miss Wisteria Lane. I miss the girls. I miss Gaby Solis. I miss being her.'"

In addition to Longoria, the ABC dramedy series originally starred Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Nicollette Sheridan as neighbors on a street with unexpected — and sometimes sinister — goings on.
Last year, Longoria said she doubted a reboot would happen, because Cherry had told her more than once that he didn't have anything else to say about the characters.
Still, Longoria was willing to speculate on what her character would be doing more than a decade after we last saw her.
"She'd be an influencer for sure. She'd be a social media mogul," Longoria said.

She also teased a project that fans will definitely see her in: the upcoming fourth season of Only Murders in the Building, which premieres Aug. 27 on Hulu.
"It's a really funny character," she said. "When you find out who I play, you're going to be like, 'That's perfect!'"
In addition to the Flamin' Hot director, the upcoming season of the Hulu mystery comedy includes Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Melissa McCarthy, Zach Galifianakis, and Eugene Levy.
