Even at the Emmys, Jon Stewart's heart was in New Jersey for Bruce Springsteen
Wish you were front and center to see Sea Hear Now?
You're not alone.
Even people at one of the most spectacular events of the calendar year had their hearts in New Jersey.
Jon Stewart, a massive Bruce Springsteen fan, would have loved to be in the crowd to hear Sunday's Sea Hear Now performances. Instead, he was stuck walking the red carpet at the Emmy Awards with his wife.
"I would like that very much to be honest with you," Stewart replied after he was asked if he'd rather be at the music festival. "Yeah, if we didn't come out here, that is where we'd be."
While Stewart was watching the best movies and actors receive honors, Springsteen and the E Street Band were tearing it up on stage at Sea Hear Now.
The band played for more than three hours Sunday night to close the weekend festival.
