On April 5, Netflix hosted a fan screening in New York to celebrate the upcoming release of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver with filmmakers Zack and Deborah Snyder and stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Michiel Huisman, Ed Skrein, Staz Nair, Fra Fee, Elise Duffy, Stuart Martin and Ray Fisher.

Quiet on Set FYC event

Fallout premiere
On Tuesday, the cast and creators of Prime Video series Fallout — including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Sarita Choudhury — stepped out on the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theater for the show’s world premiere.
Frasier FYC event
Paramount+ hosted a screening and FYC panel discussion on behalf of Frasier on Tuesday, with stars Kelsey Grammer, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Jess Salgueiro, Toks Olagundoye, Anders Keith and writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli.
Hit Man screening
John Stamos hosted a L.A. screening of Hit Man with stars Adria Arjona and Glen Powell, who also co-wrote and produced, on Thursday.
The Sympathizer special screening
Max partnered with Gold House, A24, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment and Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association to host an exclusive early screening of The Sympathizer for the local Vietnamese community in Orange County on April 5.
Feeding America National Volunteer Month events
With April marking National Volunteer Month, Katy O’Brian, Tate Donovan, Taran Killam, Karen Pittman and Mason Gooding joined Feeding America at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank on April 5. And down in Atlanta, Brandon Quinn, Dallas Dupree Young and Logan Allen volunteered with Feeding America at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Fashion Scholarship Fund Celebration
The Fashion Scholarship Fund celebrated its Class of 2024 FSF Scholars and Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholars — 130 college students who have demonstrated their ability to disrupt and transform the fashion industry as creatives or as marketing and business professionals — on Monday at its annual NYC gala. Hosted by Paloma Elsesser, the event honored LVMH Fashion Group chairman and CEO Michael Burke (who was introduced by Spike Lee), Tracee Ellis Ross and Nordstrom president and chief brand officer Pete Nordstrom for their impact on the fashion industry.
BET Presents dinner with Bevy Smith in honor of Black women in media
Media personality Bevy Smith hosted a dinner in honor of Black women in media on Monday in New York, alongside BET CMO Kimberly Paige, reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones and White House correspondent April Ryan.
The Long Game special screening
Director Julio Quintana and stars Jay Hernandez, Cheech Marin and Julian Works brought their sports drama to the White House for a special screening on Tuesday.
An Unforgettable Evening gala
The annual “An Unforgettable Evening” Gala, benefiting The Women’s Cancer Research Fund, honored Demi Moore and Wallis Annenberg on Wednesday night. The event, hosted by Tig Notaro, also welcomed honorary chairs Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks.
City Harvest Gala
Chrissy Teigen honored husband John Legend at the City Harvest presents The 2024 Gala: Magic of Motown in NYC on Wednesday. The event, which also recognized New York Mets owner Alex Cohen, honors supporters who have played a significant role in helping the organization feed New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
AFI DWW+ Class of 2024
AFI celebrated the DWW+ Class of 2024 with a showcase of their films at the Directors Guild of America on Wednesday, featuring keynote speaker Melina Matsoukas (who is an alum of the AFI Conservatory). Launched in 1974, AFI DWW+ is one of the first gender impact programs in the cinematic arts and one of the longest-running and preeminent film and television workshops.
AMC Networks’ 2024 Upfront
AMC Networks hosted its 2024 upfront at NYC’s Chelsea Factory on Wednesday, alongside AMC stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lucy Lawless, Giancarlo Esposito, Skeet Ulrich, Matt Barnes and Hilarie Burton Morgan.
