Every Time Pippa Kate Middleton Looked Like Twins: Photos
Sisters Pippa Middleton and Kate Middleton may not actually be twins, but you could’ve fooled us! In reality, the Duchess of Cambridge was born over a year before her lookalike sister. However, the similarities between the two are so striking that, to be honest, it’s easy to get them mixed up. And since it’s Pippa’s birthday today, we thought it would be fun to take a stroll down memory lane with some photos of the moments Pippa and Kate literally looked like doubles.
It’s obviously not a crazy concept that sisters would look alike. That’s sort of how genetics work, right? But with Pippa and Kate, it goes beyond their appearance to their very mannerisms — which likely comes from the fact that the sisters have always been a tight-knit duo. In Kate: The Future Queen, royal expert Katie Nicholl wrote of the pair’s relationship, saying, “They had such drive and were very competitive, particularly Pippa, but never against each other. They were very much a team.”
According to Nicholl, the sisters stayed in near-constant contact when Kate went away to college at the University of St. Andrews (where she met William!), speaking on the phone every few days. Before Kate married William, she shared a flat with Pippa in the Chelsea neighborhood of London, England. And, of course, they supported each other on their wedding days.
So, is it really any surprise that Pippa and Kate bear a striking resemblance to each other in both appearance and behavior? The Duchess of Cambridge and her little sister are cut from the same cloth. Keep scrolling to take a look at some of their most twinning moments.
