Everyone Is Torn Over Heather’s Sanity As History Repeats Itself On General Hospital
Ever since Heather was diagnosed with metallosis, a condition that could be to blame for Heather’s murderous behavior in recent years on General Hospital, everyone has been torn over her newfound sanity. Several people found themselves at odds on the June 13, 2034 episode, including Heather herself.
Fake News
After The Invader published some fake news about Laura (Genie Francis) trying to free Heather (Alley Mills), Trina (Tabyana Ali) showed up at the mayor’s office to get some answers. Laura assured her The Invader got it wrong, and that while she is wondering if Heather’s metallosis was to blame for her actions, she does not want the woman previously known as The Hook to be freed.
When Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) later arrived, he informed them that Trina was the latest target of The Invader’s fake news with an upcoming article about Trina’s supposed statement about Laura.
At Pentonville, Curtis (Donnell Turner) needed to see Heather for himself, asking her thoughts on the metallosis and reminding her the way her and her daughter Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) actions affected not only Trina, but cost Spencer (ex-Nicholas Alexander Chavez) his life. Heather told him she’s sorrier than he’ll ever know, then admitted she didn’t know what her intentions for Trina were.
Like Mother, Like Son
Meanwhile, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), another victim of The Hook, visited Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn, who recently reunited with a former co-star), also needing the truth about The Invader’s latest article. Alexis assured her she had nothing to do with it, and when the subject of Heather’s freedom came up, she reminded her friend of the last time someone’s medical condition freed them of crimes.
“The State of New York vs. Robert Frank,” Alexis said to a shocked Diane, recounting the way Franco’s (ex-Roger Howarth) brain tumor was responsible for his murders and exonerated him of all charges. Diane went on to beat herself up due to being the attorney behind Franco’s case, worried his mother’s could have the same outcome.
Do you think Heather deserves a second chance like Franco? Let us know in the comments.
