Everything We Know About the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Returning October 15, 2024
After a six-year hiatus, the beloved (and once controversial) Victoria’s Secret (VS) Fashion Show is coming back, and plans to be better than ever for 2024.
The show first started in 1995 and lasted until 2018, when it was canceled due to low TV ratings and criticism from the public after the then-chief marketing officer Ed Razek suggested transgender models shouldn’t be a part of the event, per BBC.

But since then, VS has changed its image little by little, and now, it’s promised to be much more accepting and women-centric.

It’s Coming Back After a Six Year Hiatus
While the last Victoria’s Secret show was in 2018, the company announced in May 2024 that they would be coming back with a truly spectacular show, per InStyle. Along with that, women are producing the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time!
It Will Be Held on Oct 2024
Not too much is known as of Sept 17, 2024, but we do know that the show will take place on Tuesday, Oct 15, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York.
Cher Will Be Headlining the Show
Victoria’s Secret confirmed on Sept 17 that Cher will be headlining the show!
It’ll Be an All-Women Artist Lineup
Along with Cher headlining, it’s confirmed that the show will be an all-women artist lineup, per their Instagram announcement.
Supermodels Gigi Hadid & Tyra Banks Are Confirmed to Return
While Instagram videos originally announced the news, Billboard confirmed that both former Angels Gigi Hadid and Tyra Banks would be coming back for the big show.
Model Paloma Elsesser Is Confirmed as Well
Plus-size model Paloma Elsesser is going to make her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway debut! She was discovered Pat McGrath and has modeled for brands like Fenty Beauty and Nike. Victoria’s Secret confirmed the news with an Instagram video, saying, “@palomija will be there on October 15, will you? ?? #VSFashionShow.”
Runway Star Behati Prinsloo Is Coming Back!
On Oct 3, Victoria’s Secret shared the news to Instagram that Behati Prinsloo will be joining the lineup as well. They said, “Stop scrolling, @behatiprinsloo just broke the internet. We are back and so is Behati—she is officially joining the cast of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 (better text the group chat ASAP). There’s Now Exclusive Merch
Victoria’s Secret also shared that there is exclusive merch all the models will be wearing backstage, per Instagram.
Models Jasmine Tookes & Ashley Graham Are Confirmed to Join
On Oct 11, VS confirmed Ashley Graham would be a part of the show, saying, “You thought we were done? TikTok’s Tefi Pessoa and Model Olivia Culpo Will Be Hosting
This is not a drill! VS said, “@oliviaculpo and @hellotefi have entered the chat. On October 15, the live show starts at 7PM ET, but the party starts at the Pink Carpet Pre-Show Presented by Amazon Fashion with these two iconic hosts at 6:30PM ET, where they are going to get all the celebrity tea.”
