Exclusive The Shift Clip Previews Neal McDonough-Led Sci-Fi Thriller
ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Shift clip from the upcoming dystopian sci-fi thriller led by Neal McDonough and Sean Astin. The film is set to release in theaters on Friday, December 1.
“A dystopian drama and sci-fi thriller in which one man is faced with infinite worlds and impossible choices,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “When Kevin Garner (Polaha) meets a nefarious adversary known as The Benefactor (McDonough) and refuses his offer of wealth and power, he must escape an alternate totalitarian reality. With survival on the line, Kevin fights to make it back to the world he knows and the woman he loves.”

Who is directing The Shift?
The Shift was written and directed by Brock Heasley, who also produced it alongside Ken Carpenter, p.g.a. Edd Lukas serves as director of photography, while the film stars Neal McDonough (The Minority Report, Band of Brothers, Away Alone), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies), Jason Marsden (A Goofy Movie, Boy Meets World), John Billingsley (The Man from Earth, Star Trek: Enterprise), Kristoffer Polaha (Jurassic World Dominion), and Elizabeth Tabish (The Chosen).
