Exclusive The Thicket Clip Previews Tense Conversation in Peter Dinklage-led Western
ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Thicket clip, previewing the upcoming Western thriller drama starring Peter Dinklage and Juliette Lewis. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 6.
What happens in the The Thicket clip?
In the clip, Dinklage’s Reginald Jones and Lewis’ Cutthroat Bill have a tense conversation about what they hate. Bill mentions they hate getting mocked for how they look, with Jones taking a not-so-subtle shot at her at the end.

Besides Dinklage and Lewis, The Thicket trailer also features cast members Esmé Creed-Miles (Hanna), Levon Hawke (Blink Twice), Macon Blair (I Care A Lot), Andrew Schulz (You People), James Hetfield (Metallica), David Midthunder (On Sacred Ground), Arliss Howard (Mank), Leslie Grace (In The Heights), and Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Old Man). The film is directed and produced by Elliott Lester from a screenplay written by Chris Kelley, based on the novel by Joe Lansdale.
“When fierce bounty hunter Reginald Jones (Dinklage) is recruited by a desperate man to track down a ruthless killer known only as Cutthroat Bill (Lewis), he rallies a band of unlikely heroes including a grave-digging ex-slave and a street-smart woman-for-hire,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Together, they embark on a perilous quest to track down Cutthroat Bill that leads them into the deadly “no-man’s-land” known as…The Thicket.”
The film is produced by Dinklage, David Ginsberg, Andre L III, Gianni Nunnari, Caddy Vanasirikul, Brian O’Shea, Chad Oakes, Michael Frislev, Elliott Lester, Shannon Gaulding and Brooke Dulien Lester.
