Outdoor concert canceled by Phoenix extreme heat has a new date. At least it won't be hot
The Disturbed concert in Phoenix that had to be postponed due to extreme heat in July has a new date.
The outdoor performance at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre had to be rescheduled when the heavy-metal hitmakers' equipment wouldn't work in the excessive heat on Saturday, July 22.
Live Nation announced that the new date is Saturday, March 2, 2024.
At least it won't be hot at that time of year.
Support acts have yet to be determined. The tour originally featured Breaking Benjamin and Jinjer.

Why the Disturbed concert in Phoenix was canceled for extreme heat
The high on the day the concert was originally scheduled to take place was 116 degrees in Phoenix. It was the 23rd consecutive day with a high of at least 110 in a record-breaking summer.
Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre shared the news in an Instagram post that evening saying, “Due to the excessive heat, the band’s equipment is not working properly.”
The post instructed fans to hold onto their tickets and stay tuned for a rescheduled date.
When Disturbed shared that same information on Twitter at 6:56 p.m., 26 minutes after the concert was scheduled to start, a fan responded, “Sucks you couldn’t give more notice. Canceling after the time the show is supposed to start really sucks.”
Disturbed singer David Draiman tweeted, 'I'm devastated'
Lead singer David Draiman responded to that fan, saying, “We were still trying to make everything work. None of our equipment would power up. I’m devastated.”
The following day, Draiman tweeted, “So frustrated about not being able to play last night in Phoenix. Our techs did everything they could, they are the best in the business, but despite our best efforts throughout the day, the 115 degree heat was just too much for the equipment to handle.”
He added, “Deepest apologies to our Phoenix @Disturbed ones. We needed that show as much as you did. We will return at a later date and make it up to you. Today's show in Albuquerque is proceeding as planned, as is the rest of the run.”
