‘All’s Fair’: Ed O’Neill Joins Ryan Murphy’s Hulu Series
Ed O’Neill has been tapped for a major recurring role in All’s Fair, the upcoming Hulu ensemble legal drama from Ryan Murphy. He joins series regulars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close, who also executive produce, as well as Teyana Taylor and Matthew Noszka.
No official description has been released for All’s Fair, in which Kardashian plays Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer working at an all-female firm. O’Neill is believed to be playing the husband of the firm’s founder/co-owner (Close), a former powerful Hollywood studio head.

Murphy is set to direct All’s Fair, which he is writing and executive producing with Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Lyn Greene and Richard Levine. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson also exec produce. 20th Television produces in association with Ryan Murphy Television.
O’Neill is coming off a starring role as former Clippers owner Donald Sterling in the FX on Hulu limited series Clipped. He is best known for his role as the patriarch Jay Pritchett on ABC’s hit comedy Modern Family, which earned him three Emmy nominations.
O’Neill is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
