‘Family Guy’ Had No Mercy With This Parody Of ‘The Cosby Show’

Just like everything else Family Guy makes fun of, the show’s parody of The Cosby Show was merciless. Taking on Bill Cosby’s ongoing scandal, the hit animated series took a jab at the once-beloved comedian by remaking his classic show’s opening credits. As the Griffin family sits in their living room to watch an episode of The Cosby Show, the introduction is remixed to include “what we know now.”

Keeping Cosby’s sweater game, dance moves and facial expressions intact, Family Guy lets everything else fall to the wayside – literally. Cartoon versions of Cosby’s costars, Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet and Tempestt Bledsoe, are rendered unconscious while the show’s star continues his dance moves. Enter in a pantsless Bea Arthur, an inebriated NBC peacock, and a throwing up Domino’s mascot, as Family Guy’s interpretation of The Cosby Show hits peak weirdness.
