Fans Adore 'Surprisingly Pretty' New Taylor Swift-Inspired Merch From Kamala Harris' Campaign

The Harris-Walz presidential campaign is now entering its Taylor Swift era.

Shortly after the pop superstar endorsed Kamala Harris for president in an Instagram post in the hours following the debate on Tuesday, Sept. 10, the official Harris-Walz website added some brand new Swift-inspired merch: Blue and black friendship bracelets with beads reading “Harris Walz 24."

Swifties on social media were quick to spread the news, with fans raving about the jewelry, which is selling for $20 (all proceeds go to the Harris Victory Fund).

"These are surprisingly pretty for political merch! missed opportunity for them to make the price $19.89 though lol," wrote one X user.

In the comments on another X post, fans debated whether or not Swift and the Harris campaign coordinated their efforts in advance.

"Its almost like she waited til the PERFECT moment like all smart swifties knew she would.." one person commented.

"A mock-up like the bracelets is easy to make. I think it was planned in case she did something. But I definitely think posting after the debate was intentional. It was a genius idea!" wrote someone else.

"Taylor waited for the exact perfect moment and we are all so grateful for her incredibly influential endorsement. I’m extra excited to see that Taylor has great tastes in cats. We both have Ragdolls," gushed a third fan, referring to the photo Swift posted with her endorsement (which showed her holding a cat).

As Swifties everywhere know, swapping friendship bracelets has been a huge part of the Eras Tour concert experience, inspired by the line, “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it," from the Midnights song “You’re on Your Own, Kid."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Harris-Walz bracelets—which are expected to be released on Sept. 24—have already sold out.
