As Fans Await Robert’s Return, General Hospital’s Tristan Rogers Celebrates a ‘Truly Special’ Moment
Even though Robert decided to leave Port Charles with Holly, he mentioned having a roundtrip ticket so it’s only a matter of time before we see Tristan Rogers back on General Hospital. However, recently the daytime vet was spotted out and about in California accepting a major honor in his name. The Palm Springs Tribune is reporting that on November 18, Rogers received his own star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, which honors various people who have lived in the greater Palm Springs area.
The event took place in front of 849 North Palm Canyon Drive and Rogers’ star joins others such as presidents of the United States, television personalities, literary figures, humanitarians and more.

“This honor on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars is truly special to me,” Rogers stated. “It represents not only my journey in entertainment but also my strong connection to this remarkable community as Palm Springs has been my adopted home for many years.”

As his fans know, the actor joined the ABC soap in 1980 and has played an integral part in various storylines throughout the years. In 1997, he turned up on The Bold and the Beautiful as a private investigator named Hunter Jones and went on to play Colin Atkinson on and off for nine years on The Young and the Restless. With over 55 credits to his name, Rogers has done primetime and film and played a doctor on the soap-star-studded shows Studio City and Commissioner Lex Martin on The Bay.
We send Rogers our congratulations and we can’t wait to see him back in Port Charles and watch how Robert and Sasha’s relationship as father and daughter unfold.
