Fans Say Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Are 'Cuteness Overload' in New Date Night Snap
Every night is date night for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
The duo put their love on full display on Tuesday, July 16, while attending an intimate concert at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works to support Shelton’s most-recent collaborator, Post Malone.
The 54-year-old embraced her pop rocker persona in tiny jeans shorts with black fishnets and a red and white baseball tee, adding a flair of country style with white cowboy boots. She brought the look together with her signature red lip and wore her platinum blonde locks in a high ponytail.
Meanwhile, the 48-year-old country crooner kept it casual in a black and gray shirt, jeans, and brown cowboy boots.
Dubbed a “power couple” by fans, they shared a handful of romantic moments backstage, as Stefani scored the best seat in the house on Shelton’s lap.
“Cuteness overload,” one fan commented of their photo, which saw Shelton flashing a bright smile at the camera as Stefani looked away and held up a peace sign.
“Adorable couple! Glad they found each other..” another gushed, as a third stated, “Everytime [sic] you think they cannot get any hotter, They go & do it again.”
“There's nothing like these All American Love Stories,” one user said, adding the photo next to a sweet shot of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Fans also complimented her for being a “supportive queen" as she beamed at her man in the crowd, who hopped on stage with Post Malone for a quick jam session.
“He’s a good buddy of mine and a really sweet man, and one of the most talented people I’ve had the honor of knowing,” Posty said, per Billboard, as Shelton took to the stage, telling the crowd, “It’s a Post Malone world we’re living in!”
The Voice alum then joined Post Malone to perform his 2004 hit “Some Beach,” along with an enthusiastic crowd. The duo also delivered a performance of their latest collaboration, “Pour Me A Drink.”
The rapper-turned-country star hosted the event, called “A Night in Nashville,” singing some of his Top 40 hits and previewing a handful of songs from his upcoming country album, "F-1 Trillion," which drops on August 16.
Other country artists who took the stage with the “Sunflower” singer included Hardy, Joe Nichols, and Sierra Ferrell.
