Fans Call Al Roker and Deborah Roberts the ‘OG Power Couple’ as They Pose for Date Night Photo
Fans can’t get enough of seeing Al Roker and Deborah Roberts spending time out and about in New York City—especially when they step out together for date night.
The happy couple, who have been married for 28 years, treated fans to a glimpse of their most recent night out in an Instagram post that the Today show co-host shared late on Friday, July 19. Earlier that evening, Roker, 69, and Roberts, 63, went out to enjoy a nice dinner at Four Twenty Five, a restaurant located along Park Avenue.
The weather presenter, who recently spoke with Parade for a wide-ranging interview, said the “beautiful” restaurant “did not disappoint!!” He praised chef and restaurateur Jean-Georges Vongerichten and culinary director Jonathan Benno as he shared a view of the kitchen, the meal he ordered and his chosen cocktail.
Roker also shared a photo of his wife standing outside the restaurant, a big smile on her face as she clutched a gold purse in one hand. For their night out, the ABC News journalist wore a black peplum top—which many fans told Roker they “loved” in the post’s comment section—and white pants. She wore her hair in a ponytail and paired her monochromatic outfit with gold and turquoise earrings.
Another photo in Roker’s Instagram carousel was a selfie of the couple inside the restaurant. Roker’s chosen wardrobe for the evening—a gray blazer with a gray and white checked shirt—was revealed as they both smiled at the camera and leaned in together to pose for the snapshot.
