Fans Call Jennifer Garner a 'Top Tier Human' as She Recounts a Chaotic 'First'
Jennifer Garner never fails to make fans smile—even if that means sharing some embarrassing stories.
During an Oct. 3 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Garner, 52, detailed the memory of her first-ever cup of coffee, and fans are buzzing over the chaotic and hilarious story.

While recounting the story to host Kelly Clarkson, the actress recalled an appearance on Law & Order around 30 years ago, when she was a young actress.
"I had never had coffee and I was living in New York and I was working at a restaurant and auditioning and doing my thing," the 13 Going on 30 alum explained, noting that her character on the episode was opposite actor Benjamin Bratt.
In the hopes of getting to know each other before their scenes together, Garner said Bratt invited her out for coffee—and she obliged, despite never having a cup of coffee in her life at that point.
"I was being very grown up," she joked while pretending at the time that she, too, was a coffee fanatic.
"And so we went to this cafe," she continued, noting that Bratt ordered a double latte with an extra shot. "So it was three shots of espresso in a latte."
"I was like, 'I'll have the same.' I'm sure I put like a cup of sugar into it," she joked, before admitting that when Bratt ordered a second cup, she followed suit.
But of course, the caffeine caught up to her later.
"I was so jittery after I remember I had to cancel an audition," Garner said while acting out the tremors her body experienced at the time.
"You almost probably had a heart attack," Clarkson, 42, chimed in.
"I could taste my heartbeat," Garner further joked during the show, while fans watching the episode were absolutely living for the chaotic story.
"Jennifer Garner is an absolute treasure," one user wrote under an Instagram clip from the episode, while someone else added, "Jennifer Garner is top tier human. Simply put."
