Princess Charlotte's Priceless Reaction to Will & Kate's 'Embarrassing' Kiss
The world was overwhelmed with joy this week after getting a positive video update from Kate Middleton and Prince William—but Princess Charlotte could have done without the public displays of affection.
Royal fans are still reeling over Charlotte's reaction to her parents sharing a kiss in the new video posted by the Prince and Princess of Wales this week while announcing that Kate, 42, is officially done with her chemotherapy treatment.
In one part of the moving clip, William, 42, leaned down to plant some kisses on his wife while the family enjoyed a sweet day on the beach. Charlotte, 9, didn't appear to approve of the PDA from her parents, who also share sons Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 6.
A still shot from the video went viral because of Charlotte, who looked visibly disgusted to watch her parents kiss, as she made a displeased expression in the background.
"Princess Charlotte's face is a whole vibe," one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter) after seeing the clip. "So embarrassing mom and dad!"
"Somebody help Princess Charlotte," someone else added. "The girl cannot believe it's her father she's seeing...She's like 'Really? We're outside you two!'"
"REALLY PAPA?!" another tweet echoed.
Someone else added, "princess charlotte is all of us."
Charlotte's disgust aside, fans were thrilled to see the video from Kensington Palace. The update was shared almost six months after Kate shocked the world by announcing her diagnosis with an undisclosed form of cancer.
In the uplifting update posted on Sunday, Sept. 9, Kate celebrated the good news, stating that she is "looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can."
"Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life," she added in part. Read her full statement here.
