Fans Say 'Chicago PD's Marina Squerciati Is Just as 'Adorable' in Elf Ears in Sweet Photo With Daughter
Marina Squerciati, known for her role as Kim Burgess on Chicago PD, recently rocked a whole new Middle Earth-inspired look while attending a play with her young daughter.
In a photo posted to Instagram, Squerciati posed with her little girl outside of The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale, currently in production at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Both Squerciati and her daughter sported pointed elf ears and headbands in the pic; Squerciati also rocked a long black robe (the girl opted for a pink and purple dress with a tulle skirt).
"If you thought I'd go to a Lord of the Rings musical @chicagoshakes without elf ears, do you even know me?" Squerciati wrote in her caption.
Fans agreed that Squerciati looked as "adorable" as ever in the elf ears, with one commenter calling the actress and her daughter the "cutiest and prettiest elf duo."
This isn't the first time Squerciati has suited up in fantasy gear on Instagram. In April, the star posted a photo of herself in a long red wig and tiara while chaperoning a trip to Medieval Times.
"This faire maiden liveth her besteth life @medieval_times. She also learnth she haveth a bloodthirst for sword battles. ?? ??," Squerciati wrote in her caption.
According to Hello!, Squerciati met her husband, Chicago-based lawyer Eli Kay-Oliphant, when they were both undergraduate students at Northwestern University. The couple married in 2016 and while their first daughter together was born in 2017, they still haven't publicly revealed the girl's name.
