Fans Are Convinced Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Have Already Taken This Major Relationship Step Together
Following the Kansas City Chiefs‘ win over the Baltimore Ravens yesterday, lots of things happened. In addition to the Chiefs officially winning the AFC, and guaranteeing a spot at the long-awaited Super Bowl, Chiefs’ tight-end Travis Kelce also shared some sweet moments with girlfriend Taylor Swift on the pitch.
And, between tight hugs and adorable kisses, eagle-eyed fans also saw the two talking, and have been trying to decipher what they said to each other ever since. In one TikTok that has over half a million views, for example, one Swift fan speculates that the “Love Story” singer said “I love you” to the NFL star after leaving a hug.

“Taylor saying ‘I love you’ as she walks away from Travis is my new Roman Empire,” the user wrote. “Did I read the lips right? ?? ” the user wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, fans of the couple are pretty unanimous that the L-word was definitely exchanged. Talk about a major relationship step!
“I gasped when I saw this on my TV and immediately went to socials to see if anyone else saw the ‘love you’ ????,” one user commented. “I saw the same thing!! I thought to myself, ‘Did she say what I think she said’!! Sooo happy for them!!!” wrote another fan.
In another moment captured on camera, Kelce and Swift were seen hugging and kissing in the middle of the crowd. While Kelce can be heard asking Swift “What’s up, sweetie?” finding out Swift’s response also required a bit of lip-reading.
One commenter, for example, thinks Swift couldn’t stop gushing at Kelce’s new accomplishment. “‘I can’t believe it,’ ‘I’m so proud of you’ AND ‘I love you’ in one breath?” one user wrote. “I am DONE ????”
And while lip-reading is no exact science, it’s safe to say that the two were unapologetically all over each other after the win last night. So, while their loving exchange might not come as a surprise to loyal fans who are already speculating about an engagement, it’s still absolutely adorable to see!
