Fans Demand Food Network Show From Mama Kelce Following Reports of Travis Buying Her a Vineyard

A swirling rumor about Travis Kelce’s interest in a possible real estate investment in Italy has fans begging for a new show starring the NFL player’s mother.

Donna Kelce, known fondly as “Mama Kelce,” should be the host of a new Food Network show if her younger son’s rumored interest in buying an Italian vineyard becomes a reality, one fan suggested.

The new reports about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s investment interest surfaced on Thursday., June 13 with a report by The Sun. The British tabloid quoted an unnamed individual close to the Kelce family who said Travis, 34, was “stunned” by his recent visit to Italy when he stayed at Lake Como with his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, last month. Kelce's team was reportedly “in negotiations with many owners and investors” to purchase a vineyard for his mom, the source said.

“Many people in the industry have been talking to them and would love to be business partners with the Kelce family,” the source reportedly told the news outlet, with Travis said to be aiming to spend about $3.5 million to buy a fitting property. If a purchase is made, it would be a sweet gift for Donna, who TMZ reported has dreamed about having a vineyard of her own.

As news of Travis’ vineyard plans spread on Friday, June 14, one fan reacted to a tweet about the report on X, formerly Twitter, by pitching a new Food Network show inspired by the Kelce family.

“I would also love to watch her cooking show on Food Network,” the X user wrote. They then pitched a few ideas for what the show they had in mind could be called. “‘Cookin’ with Kelce’ or ‘Kelce in Italy’. Something cute and wholesome haha.”

A fellow X user who seemed excited by the Food Network show idea volunteered their own title idea. “‘In the Kitchen with Kelce,’” they suggested.

The Sun’s report came just a few weeks after the star tight end signed a two-year extension with the Chiefs, the team he has played for since launching his NFL career in 2013. The three-time Super Bowl champion will reportedly make $34.3 million over his next two seasons with the Chiefs.
