Fans Express Concern After Mariska Hargitay Posts Series of Puzzling Photos

Mariska Hargitay is clearly digging the incoming autumnal vibes—but after posting several similar pictures in a row, without explanation, of the changing foliage over the weekend, fans were left feeling a bit confused.

The Law & Order: SVU star started with a snapshot of vines full of leaves covering a brick wall, with some still showcasing their normal, deep green hues while others started to yellow and even more had turned a crimson shade of red.

Fans loved the "Absolutely beautiful picture ????," with one pointing out, "It's the little things that makes life beautiful ??????."

"Gorgeous! Love the fall vibes! ????," another said, while someone else agreed they were "So here for the fall vibes ??."

"Fall is the season of magical cozy hugs and warm mugs. Thank you for sharing this with us beauty," they added.

Hargitay soon followed with a nearly identical snapshot, before uploading a third and final, slightly blurry photo that zoomed in on a much smaller section of the plants and wall.

While one fan declared it to be "Even more stunning close up," and another celebrated a "triple post ??" from the actress, many also appeared to be a bit befuddled by the photo series.

"I love photography and am a fan of close-ups etc….Im confused by your consecutive posts though?" one commenter said. "It’s like far, closer, close? ???? anyway you look at it, they’re lovely????."

"Nice pic but we need to see your face ??????," another begged, while someone else questioned, "did you mean to post all of these?"

Some expressed concern that she could have been hacked or that something else was going on to lead Hargitay to post "the same picture three times," while others felt it was simply a peek at her personality.

"You’re silly. ??," one said, while another dubbed it an extension of "(mariska’s camera roll) ??."

Though currently in the middle of filming for the hit crime procedural, Hargitay spent much of the summer traveling, delighting fans with other glimpses into her camera roll as they played "Where in the World is Mariska Hargitay," trying to identify her destinations.
