Some people set one alarm for the morning and are good to go. Some people need to build in a buffer alarm or two because they’re snoozers. And then there’s Jennifer Garner.

The 13 Going on 30 star recently shared some insight into her process for setting an alarm at night and fans couldn’t help but relate to the unusual setup.

The video starts with the Capital One spokesperson sitting cross-legged on a bed wearing pajamas emblazoned with the bank’s logo, where she looks up at the camera and asks “will you help me set an alarm for tomorrow?”

Garner then shows the camera her iPhone’s saved alarms, reading them aloud as she scrolls through all of them. Some are only minutes apart, some are duplicates, and Garner begins to question them midway through the video, asking “why do I have an alarm at 12:54?”

“Let’s just pick one, see what time I get up,” Garner then says with a chuckle.

It should be noted that when someone sets a new alarm on an iPhone, the device automatically saves it for future use—and Garner’s fans seem to fall into the same category as the actress of people who don't delete old alarms.

“Tell me you’re a busy mom without ?telling me you a busy mom ??,” commented one fan, with another explaining that she has just as many alarms but takes the time to label them.

A fan said the process is “Deeply relatable,” a fellow multi-alarm user wrote “So glad I am not the only one that does this?????????♀?,” and a third shared “I feel seen.”

Some of Garner’s celebrity pals jumped into the mix, with actress Rita Wilson writing “Our phones are twins!!!!,” while Jeremy Grant, who is also a spokesperson for Capital One, was instead more focused on her outfit. “wait, I didn’t get to keep my jammies!!! ??????,” he wrote, prompting the brand to respond to him directly with “we got you! ??.”

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie chimed in as well, insinuating that some of the earlier alarms on the phone are later than the morning show host’s own. “Oh, you mean sleeping in? ??,” she wrote. In 2017, Guthrie told Refinery29 that she typically wakes up between 3 and 4 a.m. to prepare for the day, with a car picking her up at 5 a.m. By 5:30 a.m., Guthrie is in the makeup chair, and is recording teases and opens by 6:30 a.m., she shared.
