Fans Are Itching for More After Miranda Lambert Debuts Unreleased Track During 'Intimate' Concert: 'What a Song'
Miranda Lambert is teasing her fans with a snippet of her upcoming album, Postcards from Texas.
The country songstress surprised fans with a pop-up concert in Austin, Texas over the weekend, but it wasn't the only trick she had up her sleeve for the night.
Lambert, 40, also debuted an unreleased track off of her new album, which doesn't officially come out until next month. She gave a live performance of the song, "B—tch on the Sauce," and it's safe to say her fans are already obsessed.
"This is gonna be on repeat when it drops!" one user wrote under a video of the performance shared to Lambert's Instagram page.
Another follower chimed in to say Lambert sounded "soooo good!!" while debuting the new track.
One fan also applauded the "If I Was a Cowboy" singer for playing at such an "intimate" venue—and it turns out the location actually has a special meaning for Lambert.
Taking to Instagram to share photos from the concert, Lambert talked specifically about the meaning of playing a surprise show at a place called Stubb's in Austin, one of the venues where she performed when first starting out her country music career.
"Almost exactly 20 years ago to the day (Aug 28, 2004) I played my 1st showcase for a major label here," she wrote online after the show. "I still have that same fire that I had 20 years ago and y'all sure do too."
Fans are thrilled that Lambert will be going back to her Texas roots with the new album, which she has already teased as being "honky tonk as hell."
Postcards from Texas officially drops on Friday, Sept. 13.
