Fans Melt Over Tim Walz's Adorable Reaction to Taylor Swift Endorsing Him and Kamala Harris

Fans got to watch certified Swiftie Tim Walz learn of Taylor Swift's official endorsement for his ticket with Kamala Harris in real-time on Tuesday night, Sept. 10, following the presidential debate, and many of them were left melting over his touching response to the "Karma" songstress' revelation that she would be voting for the democratic nominees this November.

Immediately following the debate, the vice presidential candidate joined Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, where she read to him, in full, Swift's poignant Instagram message that condemned Donald Trump's use of AI imagery to fake an endorsement from her and shared why she'd be voting for the Harris/Walz ticket.

As the journalist quoted Swift, telling Walz, "I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades," the Minnesota governor listened with rapt attention and a heartened smile on his face, at one point bringing his hand up to rest over his heart.

Walz had a strong response of his own for the singer, enthusiastically mouthing "Wow!" with a giddy grin before his mic was turned back on. “Wow, all those things, I am incredibly grateful, first of all, to Taylor Swift. I say that also as a fellow cat-owner."

"He continued, "Swifties, you heard it. We know that it’s there. That was eloquent, and it was clear, and that’s the type of courage that we need in America to stand up. We’ve seen it out of those Republicans who were at the DNC; we’ve seen it out of women who would like to have their own personal lives kept personal but are forced to go out there because they nearly died because they can’t get abortion services in their pregnancy. And now, you have somebody like Taylor Swift coming out and making that very clear."

He also took the opportunity to call on her fanbase to get involved in the campaign however they can.

Fans were swept up in his sweet reaction, with one gushing over an apparent blush spreading across his cheeks.

"oh my goodness he blushed so pink! :D," they replied to the video. "so cute."

"He was close to tears…." another thought, while someone else appreciated, "He’s so sincere."

"hand on his heart like a Swiftie during surprise songs lmaooo," another fan compared the sweet gesture to.

Several also felt amped for the election cycle to move forward, with one exclaiming, "Let's do this!!" and another declaring it time to "Fight fight fight!!!"
