Fans are loving Miley Cyrus' new look, with the "Flowers" singer looking stunning in the cover photoshoot for W Magazine.

Cyrus posed for the magazine as part of a new cover story wearing a dark teal ensemble and black heels with sparkling embellishments. As both the magazine and Cyrus shared the image on Instagram, fans went wild for the look, especially the 31-year-old's surprising new hairstyle.

In the photo, Cyrus debuted a layered look, with the new hue of her hair a mixture of reds and blondes that had many thinking of past eras throughout the star's career.

"Looks like she can’t be tamed and can’t be blamed ??," said one fan, referencing Cyrus' third album, Can't Be Tamed, which was released in 2010 and features tracks like "Who Owns My Heart" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."

A different fan felt the same way, writing, "shes [sic] back in her can’t be tamed era hair color????."

Another joked, "Looks like she is gonna boom clap boom de clap de clap ??," calling back to a different iconic Cyrus era of the "Hoedown Throwdown," the popular song that came out in 2009 as part of Hannah Montana: The Movie.

Others were simply stunned by Cyrus' new 'do, with reactions like, "THE HAIR IS INSANE BEAUTIFUL ??," "need a word stronger than mother," and "She is serving so well, I really love the hair color ??????."

Earlier this year, Cyrus won two Grammys, including her first ever. She touched on this accomplishment in the accompanying interview with W Magazine, saying about her song, "I really wanted 'Flowers' to be a celebration of -bravery, because I perform out of fear...Anyone who’s ever put themselves in a position to be observed or judged is brave. It doesn’t matter if it’s eight or eight million people—that fear is there."

She also revealed that a return to acting might be in her future—if she finds the right role: "So, I would like to act again. But the role would really need to be right...I would need a character that is bigger than me."

With any luck, fans will be able to see the singer and actress take on the big screen again soon.
