Fans Shocked as Paul McCartney Makes Surprising Cameo on Stage at Unlikely Event

You never know where you'll see Paul McCartney these days.

The 82-year-old musical icon might be at a Taylor Swift concert, or hanging out with Snoop Dogg—or even taking in a live comedy show.

Fans were stunned when Black-ish star Deon Cole pulled McCartney onstage during his set at the Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles, especially when the comedian revealed that the pair had been spending time together before the show, too.

As Cole explained in a video shared to Instagram by TMZ, the Beatles legend joined him as he prepared for the performance with some "good s--t."

"I had to smoke and that's why this is happening. And y'all motherf---ers did not give no love to me at all tonight," Cole said.

After Cole thanked him for coming to the show, McCartney shared his unfiltered opinion on the act.

“I’ve just been enjoying seeing you working through this material. You’re right, some of it bombed.”

In August, Snoop Dogg shared a somewhat similar anecdote about the first time he met McCartney, as Billboard reported.

“I did a little concert for somebody in Hollywood. Paul McCartney was there. I never met him before, but I’m a f---ing fan of The Beatles,” Snoop said. “I know Jimmy [Iovine] know him, I know Dre know him. I’m in the back smoking and they’re like, ‘Sir Paul would like to meet you.’ I’m like, ‘Oh for real? Hold on.’"

“I put the blunt out, cuz walk in the room like, ‘Don’t put that down!’" the rapper continued.

"He give me a hug and he meet me and I’m like, ‘F--k, Paul McCartney know who the f--k Snoop Dogg is!' This is Paul McCartney, he knows who I am. That’s the experience I love is when the people you respect, respect you.”
