Fans Say Taylor Swift 'Looks So Old Money' on 'The Double Date We Waited For'
Pop superstar Taylor Swift is just days away from returning to the stage for the Eras tour, and it seems like she’s squeezing in as much quality time with loved ones as she can before she goes back on the road.
Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, were spotted out on the town in New York City on Oct. 11 on what fans called “the double date we waited for.”

TMZ reports that the power couple was seen walking into The Corner Store restaurant in SoHo, followed closely by none other than Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds.
Swift was wearing a Gucci navy and cream corset, a black leather mini skirt, Polo Ralph Lauren camel hair coat, black Louis Vuitton platform boots and a black Dior saddle bag, reports People.
Her elegant outfit, complete with her hair styled in half-up half-down soft waves and her classic red lipstick and winged eyeliner makeup prompted fans on social media to declare that the ‘Blank Space’ songstress looked “so old money.”
Kelce wore a navy and cream Jacquemus Simon printed shirt, navy pants, and white sneakers, and in the spirit of the date’s location, one fan said “He’s so Bushwick and she’s so west village.”
Fans gushed about Swift, writing “The outfit, the look, the camera flashes, the boyfriend, this video is the IT girl manifesto,” with many others quoting lyrics from the singer’s 2014 hit “Welcome to New York.”

Meanwhile, others teased that Kelce will have to bone up on his movie trivia after going on a double date with Lively. “He needed the cheat sheet on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I just know @JasonKelce will love the depth of the storylines he won’t be able to stop himself from watching the sequel ??,” wrote one fan on X.
On a recent episode of Kelce’s podcast with his brother, retired NFL star Jason Kelce, Travis gave a synopsis of the 1999 romantic comedy Notting Hill that quickly devolved into a discussion on whether or not the movie’s lead, Hugh Grant, is too handsome to play a regular person.
“I don’t know if that’s realistic,” Jason said, opining that Grant is “a good-looking man.”
