Fans Say Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ‘Giving Rich’ in Preppy Looks for Surprise US Open Appearance

After becoming the talk of the town in New York City when they were spotted on dates over the weekend, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce decided to make a surprise appearance at the U.S. Open, dressing perfectly for the occasion.

The celebrity couple was spotted walking into the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center hand in hand on Sunday, Sept. 8, with Swift wearing a red-and-white plaid retro-style dress, heels and sunglasses. Meanwhile, Kelce wore a full Gucci outfit of a polo shirt, shorts, a cardigan and a bucket hat, all matching with a white, red and green design.

The U.S. Open shared a clip of the two together, writing, "In a tennis era ?? Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce arrive at the US Open."

Fans immediately shared their thoughts on the looks, with reactions like, "Taylor has been killing it with the outfits lately. I like this new style," "Wow that is just lit ??," and, "Giving rich omggg."

Many felt like the preppy fashion was a perfect choice for the U.S. Open, saying, "the dress heals hair glasses everything taylor i love you," and, "her dress and heels combo is SO CUTESYYYYY and his bucket hat is so fun omg they are both SO FUN."

But some people didn't love the looks, particularly Kelce's outfit, such as one who said, "Basic at fashion, but is this a tablecloth and napkins combo ? ??."

Swift and Kelce were also joined by his teammate and close friend, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany, with the group hugging and laughing in new photos as they tuned in to the tennis match.
