Fans Say Time 'Goes So Fast' as Jason Aldean Celebrates Daughter's Milestone Birthday With Loving Tribute
Jason Aldean is proud to be the dad of a newly-minted 17-year-old.
The "Dirt Road Anthem" singer shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to his daughter Kendyl Williams this week, taking to social media to share just how much he adores the teen as she rings in another year.
In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Aug. 20, Jason—who was born Jason Aldine Williams—shared several photos from throughout Kendyl's life, including a few childhood photos and more current pics of the all-grown-up teen.
"As parents we spend all the young years runnin and gunnin, just trying to keep up and raise good humans," the 47-year-old dad began his emotional post. "One day you wake up and they are almost grown and you realize you did pretty good at this dad thing."
"I can’t believe it’s been 17 years since you came in the world," he wrote to Kendyl, telling his girl, "You have been such a joy for all of us watching you grow up and seeing what kind of person you are."
"I’m so proud of you and all you stand for. I love u so much and hope u have the best day. Happy bday Kendyl ! ?? ?? ??" the post—which also included a snap of Kendyl posing with her dad and his wife, Brittany Aldean, 36.
"Goes so fast! Our 18 yr old daughter goes to college today," one fan commented, as another echoed, "wow unreal how fast the time has gone."
Kendyl herself also commented on the post, writing, "i love you so much dad, you’re the best. ??"
Kendyl is one of two kids that Jason shares with his first wife, Jessica Ussery. The former couple, who were married from 2001 to 2013, also share firstborn daughter, Keeley Williams, 21.
Jason went on to have two other children with Brittany, whom he wed in 2015. They welcomed their son Memphis, 6, in December 2017, followed by their daughter Navy, 5, in February 2019.
