Adam Sandler: Love You special screening
Sandler debuted his new Netflix comedy special in NYC on Aug. 20, alongside director (and former Uncut Gems collaborator) Josh Safdie.

The Crow premiere
Bill Skarsgard and FKA Twigs walked the carpet at the NY premiere of their new version of The Crow on Aug. 20. The premiere was followed by an afterparty hosted by Lionsgate, TikTok and SSENSE.
Only Murders in the Building premiere
With season four of the hit Hulu comedy heading to Los Angeles, stars Steve Martin, Martin
Short, Selena Gomez and Meryl Streep followed suit for the premiere on the Paramount lot on Aug. 22.
1992 premiere
Lionsgate celebrated the L.A. premiere of 1992 on Tuesday with EP Snoop Dogg and stars Tyrese Gibson and Scott Eastwood. Gibson’s Fast & Furious family Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez also came out to support.
The Deliverance premiere
Andra Day, Glenn Close, Mo’Nique and Demi Singleton joined director Lee Daniels at the L.A. premiere of their new Netflix film on Wednesday.
Cinespia’s Kirsten Dunst Slumber Party
Cinespia hosted its annual Slumber Party on Aug. 17, which featured a special double feature screening of Bring It On and The Virgin Suicides at Hollywood Forever Cemetery with a surprise introduction from Kirsten Dunst.
Sag Harbor Cinema’s Voyager Award
Sag Harbor Cinema recognized Naomi Watts as the first recipient of Sag Harbor Cinema’s Voyager Award on Aug. 17. The annual benefit took place at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, with guests including Blythe Danner and Katie Lee Biegel.
The Crow parties
Lionsgate hosted themed parties — featuring gothic details, live DJs and drag performances — in both New York and Los Angeles in support of The Crow.
Ol’ Dirty Bastard: A Tale of Two Dirtys premiere
Tribeca hosted the New York premiere of Ol’ Dirty Bastard: A Tale of Two Dirtys with Young Dirty Bastard, Icelene Jones and directors Sam and Jason Pollard, as well as an advance screening of Strange Darling with director J.T. Mollner and stars Willa Fitzgerald and Giovanni Ribisi.
Reagan premiere
Dennis Quaid, who plays Ronald Reagan in the new film, was joined by co-stars Penelope Ann Miller, Jon Voight, David Henrie, Kevin Dillon and Sean McNamara at the L.A. premiere on Aug. 20.
Incoming event
Netflix hosted a very house party-style event in support of the high school comedy Incoming on Aug. 20, with directors Dave and John Chernin as well as castmembers Mason Thames, Ramon Reed, Raphael Alejandro, Bardia Seiri, Isabella Ferreira, Loren Gray, Ali Gallo and Kayvan Shai.
Rescue: HI-Surf Screening
EP and director John Wells took part in a screening and conversation for fall drama series Rescue: Hi-Surf on Aug. 20 at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
Blink Twice special screening
Zo? Kravitz continued to promote her directorial debut with a NYC screening at Metrograph and Le Dive.
Reasonable Doubt tastemaker event
Reasonable Doubt creator and showrunner Raamla Mohammed and EPs Larry Wilmore, Anton Cropper and Pilar Savone joined industry tastemakers for an advance screening of the season two premiere episode at Soho Warehouse in Los Angeles.

This is About Humanity Soirée
This Is About Humanity held its sixth anniversary soirée on Saturday, benefiting the TIAH collective food-relief kitchen with Fundación Tijuana Sin Hambre and ICF, which serves hot meals to vulnerable communities at the Tijuana/US border region; Immigrant Defenders Law Center’s efforts to provide pro bono legal representation to this vulnerable population; and the This Is About Humanity Binational Fund for ICF. Held at Henry Winkler’s home, Eva Longoria, Jordana Brewster, Julianne Hough, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Xochitl Gomez and Sasha Calle were among the guests.
