Fear TWD’s Season 8B Trailer Teases a Madison/Alicia Reunion in the Final Episodes — Plus, [Spoiler]’s Alive?!?
For better or worse, it’s like Old Home Week in the explosive trailer for the final six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead that AMC released Wednesday.
In the plus column, Kim Dickens’ Madison Clark is reunited with her old drinking buddy, Colman Domingo’s Victor Strand. In the minus column, she also comes face to face again with Daniel Sharman’s Troy Otto, whom bludgeoned to (what she thought was) death back in Season 3.

Based on the action-packed teaser above, Troy knows something about the fate of Madison’s daughter, Alycia Debnam-Carey’s Alicia, who we all thought had died in Season 7. He’d almost have to know something, given that he has in his possession her skeletal prosthetic. And whatever he says, it’s enough to make Madison determined to find Alicia.
Per the official logline for Season 8B, which kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 9/8c, “now that Shrike and her influence are gone, Madison sets her sights on transforming PADRE into the safe haven the old Stadium was meant to be. But in doing so the island becomes a target as well as a beacon as word of Madison and this land of resources spreads, attracting unwanted attention that puts PADRE back in peril and questions whether our heroes even deserve to save it.”
Of the series’ original cast members, all that’s left are Dickens, who left for three seasons, Domingo and Rubén Blades, who also left for a season.
