'I feel blessed and honored': Zula Restaurant & Wine Bar closes after almost 10 years
Zula Restaurant & Wine Bar has closed after almost a decade in business.
Owner and chef Tsvika "Vik" Silberberg opened the popular tapas-style restaurant in Over-the-Rhine in late 2012. In a message to The Enquirer, Silberberg said he closed Zula because he is retiring.

"I have been in the hospitality business for 42 years and at age 62 I decided to retire," he wrote. "I feel blessed and honored to have served so many wonderful guests over the past 10 years and I would like to thank them all."
Silberberg worked as the executive chef and general manager of the former Celestial in Mount Adams from 2000 to 2004, after moving to Cincinnati from Tel Aviv, Israel. He opened his second Cincinnati restaurant, ZBGB Gourmet Burger and Bar, in 2016, but shuttered the business less than a year later.
