Festival Main Stage, Fortnite's rhythm game, has a new star ? Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is coming to Fortnite.

The superstar singer is the next featured artist on Fortnite Festival Main Stage, a music and rhythm-based video game that's reminiscent of the classic Guitar Hero franchise, which takes place in the Fortnite world.

On Monday, she posted an image of her in-game avatar (or skin, as the kids say) leaping into action with a microphone in her hand, along with the date of April 23, 2024.

Neither Eilish nor the game's operator, Epic, had much more to share, but she follows Lady Gaga, whose time at the festival featured in-game themed outfits and musical instruments for players to earn and buy.

Eilish will release a new album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft," on May 17.
