DENVER (KDVR) — True crime and spooky content enthusiasts listen up: The True Crime & Paranormal Podcast Festival is coming to the Denver metro.

It will also feature a podcast gallery where fans can mingle with their favorite creators.

There will also be immersive panels and roundtable case discussions.
Additionally, the festival will feature victim advocates, family members and survivors in the festival programming. The founder of the festival, Lanie Hobbs, said the reason for this is to give the power back to these groups.
“It’s often that somebody had the worst day of their life,” she said. “And [the podcast is] telling that person’s story … Their life doesn’t end after a [30-minute] or hour-long episode.”
According to the festival’s website, the content creators featured have been vetted to make sure they produce “ethical true crime,” which is described as true crime content that puts the victims first and doesn’t glorify perpetrators.
People can buy a ticket to attend virtually and listen to 10 panels for $59, purchase a single-day pass for $85 per day or buy a standard admission pass to attend all the festival days for $219.
