Find out which KarJenner sister broke the news to a pregnant Khloé Kardashian that Tristan Thompson cheated
It’s been six months since the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal unfolded in real life — just before Khloé Kardashian gave birth to their first child together, daughter True — and it’s finally playing out on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In a preview clip for Sunday’s show, we get a painful (but can’t-look-away) play-by-play of how the news circulated through the family, and we found out which sister was tasked with breaking the news to the mom-to-be.
While a lot of it is clearly recreated for prime time, it’s still compelling TV as Kim Kardashian reads the news while doing a KUWTK shoot and transmits it to the fam, including Kendall Jenner, who is fake driving around with Scott Disick (he’s clearly not operating that car). They are all shook:
Kim: “Khloé is going to die… She’s literally going to go into labor over this.”
Kendall: “I’m in shock right now. I don’t even know what to say. This is a sick joke… Oh my god, oh my god — I’m going to cry for her.”
Scott: “Stop. Bro, this is pretty serious, isn’t it?” (Oh, Scott.)
Kourtney: “I can’t even imagine being in Khloé’s shoes — just how reckless it all seems. This is really shocking and obviously heartbreaking. The whole thing makes me disgusted.”
Kylie, a new mom herself, is getting her makeup done when she finds out, and she’s the one who breaks the news to the very pregnant Khloé. So how did she do it? By sending her the article. She explained, “No one had the courage to tell Khloé because we knew she was days away from giving birth. We didn’t want to stress her out, but we knew it was the right thing to do, so I’m the one that told Khloé. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but I felt like she should hear from one of us versus on the internet.”

And that’s all we get, so that people tune in to see Khloé’s reaction. Of course, we know that she ended up staying with him, but what a heartbreaking thing to endure — especially being so far away from friends and family in Cleveland, where she relocated to support Thompson’s NBA career with the Cavaliers.
In recent weeks, there was chatter about whether Khloé and baby True, who was born April 12, would join Thompson back in Cleveland again this season, but we got our answer this week when she was spotted courtside at one of his home games. And things seem good (for now) for the pair, with Thompson sharing the first family pic of the three of them together.
But as we watch the Kardashians react to Thompson’s cheating, we’re reminded that it’s the kind of thing that seems impossible to really ever get over.
