First Footage Of ‘Severance’ & ‘Silo’ Season 2, More In Apple Teaser Video
We’re getting a look at some of the first footage for Season 2 of both Severance and Silo. It was released today at the 2024 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference as part of a “Coming to Apple TV+” teaser video.
The video opens with the return of Adam Scott’s Mark Scout to Lumen Industries. Director and executive producer Ben Stiller took to Instagram in January to confirm that the Apple TV+ drama series had returned to production after a months-long delay due to the Hollywood strikes.
More from Deadline
From creator and writer Dan Erickson and Stiller, Severance stars Scott as Mark Scout, who leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in ‘work-life balance’ is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.
Severance also stars Patricia Arquette, John Tuturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus and Christopher Walken.
Production also was delayed on Season 2 of Silo due to the strikes. Based on Hugh Howey’s trilogy of dystopian novels, Silo stars Rebecca Ferguson, with a cast that also includes Tim Robbins and Rashida Jones. AMC Studios produces.
In addition to Severance and Silo, the teaser also features series Presumed Innocent, Lady in the Lake, Slow Horses, Pachinko and Shrinking, as well as Apple films Fly Me to the Moon, with Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, which hits theaters July 12; The Instigators starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck (Aug. 6); and Wolfs, reuniting George Clooney and Brad Pitt (Sept. 20).
