EXCLUSIVE: Deadline can reveal first look images of Western Long Shadows, starring Dermot Mulroney (Anyone But You), Jacqueline Bisset (Bullitt), and Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings).

More from Deadline
Veteran actor William Shockley (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) is directing the pic as his first feature, having penned the script with Shelley Reid and Hines. Mulroney plays ‘Dallas Garrett’, a former outlaw gunslinger with the wisdom of regret, who serves as a mentor to a young man trying to find his way in the world.
Shockley, Hines, Tom Brady, Allen Gilmer, Tiiu Loigu, and Justin Kreinbrink are producing for Tiki Tāne Pictures, with Gilmer, Riki Rushing, and Matthew Shreder, who serve as executive producers. A.J. Raitano is the cinematographer and Tommy Fields is composing the original score.

Tiki Tane was founded last year by Shockley, Brady, Gilmer and Rushing. The company initially launched as Thunderbird Pictures but had to change names due to a copyright issue.
The company has also produced James Franco project Castro’s Daughter and is an exec producer on sci-fi The Assessment, starring Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen. All three of the company’s first projects are completed and are being presented to distributors.
The company told us today about its goals: “Our ambition from the start was simple, to control our destiny as filmmakers, be it films we curate and produce internally or films that we invest in. Rather than any specific genre, we focus on compelling scripts with first time and established director, with accomplished actors to bring unique stories to life. Our budget range for films we produce internally is from three to five million. When we invest as executive producers, the script, package and finance plan guide our investment amount.”
They continued: “We are internally funded to produce our own films, which allows us to also participate in projects presented to us. We are not limited to any one type of funding, allowing us to do everything from equity, tax and escrow debt to P&A funding for our own projects.”
Company partner Tom Brady [the veteran producer, not the former Pats QB] added about future projects: “Developing scripts and producing our own films, as well as investing in feature films is our primary focus. But we have an eye on TV for the future. With my experience as a showrunner, we are actively developing limited series, including High Roller, the true story of 1970’s marijuana kingpin Jimmy Chagra.”
