Get a First Look at New 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters'
Back in 2013, Signed, Sealed, Delivered premiered on Hallmark Channel as a one-hour episodic series. It followed four postal detectives as they attempted to return letters and packages deemed undeliverable by regular means. The series, created by Touched By an Angel's Martha Williamson, had a 10-episode run before moving over to Hallmark Mystery and transitioning to two-hour movies. Who would have imagined nearly a decade ago that the series would become Hallmark's longest-running movie franchise?
POstables, as fans of the series are called, having been waiting over three years since the last movie and the wait is almost over. Hallmark announced earlier this year that the cast would be returning to film two new Signed, Sealed Delivered movies and the first one is set to premiere next month! Here's everything we know about Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters.
What is Signed, Sealed, Delivered about?
The series follows four postal workers as they attempt to return lost and supposedly undeliverable mail to their rightful recipient. As they delve into the history of an item and its contents, viewers learn the stories behind each piece of mail and about the writer as well as the intended recipient.
What is Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters about?
Oliver (Eric Mabius), Shane (Kristin Booth), Rita (Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe) and Norman’s (Geoff Gustafson) latest case finds them trying to piece together the clues that will lead them to the intended recipients of a trio of dead letters, which has a surprising, personal impact that hits close to home.
Meanwhile, with the honeymoon phase now fading, Oliver and Shane grapple with finding their footing as a married couple. Thankfully, Norman has a cousin who can help them find their way.
Rita and Norman have happily taken in Charley (Rhiannon Fish) and her baby, but Rita feels Norman’s enthusiasm for tending to the baby’s needs is standing in the way of their progress in starting a family of their own.
Who wrote Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters?
Martha Williamson and her writing partner, Brandi Harkonen wrote the newest Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies.
Who is Martha Williamson?
Williamson is a writer, director, and producer best known for serving as a writer and executive producer on Touched By An Angel. Her credits include The Facts of Life, Who's the Boss?, Jack's Place and most recently Young Sheldon.
Meet the cast of Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters
Eric Mabius (Oliver O'Toole)
Oliver O'Toole is a classic gentleman and would probably be more comfortable living in the 1920s than the 2020s. After a rocky start, a romance between he and Shane McInerney blossomed and they married in the last movie, The Vows We Have Made.
Mabius, the actor who plays Oliver, is probably best known for his role as Daniel Meade on ABC's Ugly Betty opposite Academy Award nominee America Ferrara. He made his film debut in 1995's Welcome to the Dollhouse.
Fun fact: Mabius competed in luge and was named an honorary captain of the U.S. Luge Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Kristin Booth (Shane McInerney-O'Toole)
Shane is the DLO's computer guru and wasn't even meant to be a member of the Dead Letter Office. She was actually assigned to another DLO in the postal service—Direct Line Operations. By the time Shane was able to transfer to the correct DLO she had become a POstable and decided to stay where she was.
Kristin Booth's first starring film role was opposite a pre-Deadpool Ryan Reynolds in the 2003 heist film, Foolproof. She later starred as Connie in MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives opposite Haven star Lucas Bryant. Prior to Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Booth took on the role of Ethel Kennedy in the television miniseries, The Kennedys.
Fun fact: Booth was an executive producer on the Hallmark Channel movie, Winter's Dream starring Kristy Swanson and Dean Cain. Booth's husband, Tim Ware, was a writer on the film!
Geoff Gustafson (Norman Dorman)
Norman is the team's version of James Bond's Q, but with a lot less expensive tech. He was quietly in love with Rita for years and finally acted on his passion for her. The two married in Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Altar.
Geoff Gustafson has been acting for close to three decades and hails from the same high school as Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, New Amsterdam's Tyler Labine and Property Brothers' Jonathan and Drew Scott. Both Gustafson and Lowe were part of the main cast of Primeval: New World alongside Hallmark Channel alum Niall Matter. He most recently appeared in Gilded Newport Mysteries: Murder at the Breakers.
Fun fact: Gustafson is an ardent baseball fan and he doesn't eat sweets!

Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (Rita Haywith-Dorman)
Rita has a quirky personality and a big heart. She competed in and won her branch's Miss Postal Delivery pageant. She had secretly been in love with Norman for years, not realizing the attraction was mutual. Rita and Norman have since tied the knot and hope to start a family.
Lowe is of Scottish-Chinese decent. She was the first to participate in the Make Her Mark mentorship program. Created by actress Ashley Williams, Make Her Mark mentors females who aspire to become directors. Lowe shadowed another female director on a Hallmark film and later got the chance to direct a Hallmark movie of her own. Her directorial debut was on the Hallmark movie, Shifting Gears, starring Katherine Barrell and Tyler Hynes.
Fun fact: Lowe is fluent in Cantonese.
Rhiannon Fish (Charley)
Rhiannon Fish has starred in several television rom-coms including Team Bride, A Splash of Love and A Love to Remember. She also stars as one-half of the sleuthing sister duo of Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths on Hallmark Mystery. Last year, she starred in My Norwegian Holiday for Hallmark Channel. Fish also starred in Great American Family's A Prince in Paradise and will star in its sequel, A Prince in Paradise 2: A Royal Proposal.
