Five for Fighting tour coming to Buffalo in August
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Five For Fighting will be bringing the full band to Buffalo at 8 p.m. on Aug. 8 for a show at the downtown Electric City venue.
Of the 24 shows on this tour, nine will be played in New York state, with Buffalo being the first of those nine. The other Empire State tour locations include Tarrytown, Homer, Saratoga Springs, Corning, Bethel, Oneonta, Bethlehem and Port Washington.
The first half of the tour will be played with the full band, and for the latter half, frontman John Ondrasik will be accompanied by a string quartet.
“It’s always a thrill for me to play with such amazing musicians,” Ondrasik said in a recent release. “We look forward to playing songs people know and love and some of the newer songs like ‘OK (We Are Not Ok)’ and telling some stories along the way.”
