Fleck, Washburn to perform at Goshen College

Mar. 27—GOSHEN — Goshen College is set to host Grammy-winning banjo artists Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn as part of the Goshen College Performing Arts Series.

The duo is set to perform April 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall, 1700 S. Main St.

"Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn are a powerhouse couple in the world of contemporary bluegrass and folk music," a news release stated. "With their unique blend of banjo expertise and soulful vocals, they have garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated global fan base. This concert promises an unforgettable evening of musical exploration, featuring a repertoire that weaves traditional Appalachian tunes with modern compositions and cross-genre collaborations."
