Former ‘Baywatch’ Star’s ‘Macho’ Attitude Causes Turmoil on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’
On Monday’s Celebrity Apprentice, the teams were tasked with coming up with an ad campaign for Kawasaki motorcycles. The ladies went with a photo shoot showing strong, independent women riding the motorcycles. One of the concepts was to be of Brooke Burke-Charvet and her husband, Baywatch star David Charvet. Porsha Williams’s idea was to have Brooke driving the motorcycle, with David sitting on the back. It didn’t work out that way.
When David got there, he refused to sit on the back of the motorcycle, explaining, “I’m not having Arnold looking at me like I’m some sort of wimp.” David said he would never trust Brooke to drive a motorcycle with him on the back (which is irrelevant because they weren’t actually driving) and that only a “stupid husband” would allow that to happen.
When they got into the boardroom, Arnold informed them that the Kawasaki executives thought the image of Brooke and David didn’t fit with the rest of the images, and the ladies lost the challenge. Arnold added that if Brooke had been riding in front of the motorcycle, they likely would have won.
The Celebrity Apprentice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
