Former USC Trojan Nick Young finds new television opportunity
Nick “Swaggy P” Young, a former USC Trojan basketball star, is part of the upcoming “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” season three cast on the Black Entertainment Television channel, commonly known as BET.
A new cohort of celebrities will reside together as students at the historic Xavier University of Louisiana, the nation’s sole Catholic member of Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU), and the leading producer of African American medical school graduates.
Tamar Braxton, Saucy Santana, Angela “Blac Chyna” White, Karlous Miller of 85 South, Claudia Jordan, and Nick “Swaggy P” Young will embark on a transformative collegiate experience, navigating the challenges of campus life in an academic certificate program in pursuit of graduation.
The former USC Trojan hoop star was an all-state basketball player in California before attending USC, where he was a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the Pac-10.
Young was selected 16th overall by the Washington Wizards in the 1st round of the 2007 NBA Draft.
Young played in the NBA from 2007-2019 for six NBA teams averaging 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game over that span.
The career basketball player is retired from the NBA and is featured in numerous reality shows and podcasts.
