‘The Four Seasons’ Adds Marco Calvani As Series Regular
EXCLUSIVE: The Four Seasons continues to build out its series regular cast with Marco Calvani as the latest addition to the Netflix comedy based on the 1981 film, from Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield.
As previously announced, Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Erika Henningsen and Will Forte will star. While a logline for the series hasn’t been provided, the film The Four Seasons follows three couples who vacation together every season, only to see their worlds upended when one of them divorces. Alan Alda directed from his script and starred opposite Carol Burnett, with Martin Bregman producing.

Hailing from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Fey’s production company Little Stranger, Inc., The Four Seasons will be exec produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond. Alda and Marissa Bregman will produce, with Fey, Fisher and Wigfield writing the scripts. Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman (Succession) will direct the first two episodes The series is slated to begin production later this year.
Calvani is an Italian-born writer, director, producer and actor who currently resides in Los Angeles. The Four Seasons marks his first acting role in the U.S. Calvani made his feature directorial debut with High Tide, which he also wrote and produced. The film premiered at SXSW in March of this year to critical acclaim and will be released theatrically this October by Strand.
