Fox makes a splash with 'Finding Nemo' screening

Take the family on a deep-sea adventure and "just keep swimming" on Sunday at the Fox Theater.

The downtown venue is hosting a screening of "Finding Nemo" as part of the Summer Movie Series.

Clown fish Marlin (Albert Brooks) heads out on the titular journey when his son Nemo (Alexander Gould) swims too close to the surface and is caught by a diver.

Teaming up with blue reef fish Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), Marlin faces sharks, jellyfish and other ocean dangers to rescue Nemo from a dentist's fish tank.

Costumes are highly recommended, with attendees encouraged to dress as their favorite animated character.

Concessions are $1 each for popcorn, soft drinks and hot dogs while supplies last

Doors open at noon, the movie begins at 1 p.m. at the theater, 2001 H St.
