“Monday I’m overrated, Tuesday on my d**k.”

Conservative social media influencer Xaviaer DuRousseau slammed Beyoncé for her endorsement of VP Kamala Harris for President this week, taking shots at her Cowboy Carter album. Following the Beyhive swarming down on DuRousseau with receipts of his true fandom, the talking head has defended his choice to call out Carter on her album sales.

Referring to Harris as “desperate” for celebrity endorsements, DuRousseau said following her Houston rally attended by Bey and Kelly Rowland, “She’s out here bringing every celebrity she can to get any kind of endorsement because she knows she doesn’t have any substance herself. She [even] brought Beyonce out…”

He later added of the “16 Carriages” singer, “[Beyonce] doesn’t need to be doing that [endorsing Kamala]. She needs to be focusing on trying to keep her album on the charts because it’s already gone.”

Cowboy Carter was released in March 2024, topping the Billboard 200 chart upon its release. However, it also became the Bey album with the shortest stay on the chart at 28 weeks, TGJ reports.

Following DuRousseau’s comments, Beyhive members took to his social media pages and scrolled back enough to find several posts praising the singer, including claims that she is a better artist than The Beatles.

Fans immediately began calling out the personality for only taking shots at Beyoncé due to his appearance on Fox News, a conservative network. However, he’s since doubled-down on his critique, arguing that he can be a fan and still speak on her latest album’s performance on the charts in a statement to TSR.

“The receipts [unearthing of my aged tweets] may have gagged me, but they do not discredit what I said on FOX News,” he replied on social media.  “I am STILL a Beyonce fan. It’s not my fault she doesn’t promote her music, and that’s why her album FLED the charts like Harriet Tubman in the middle of the night.

“Maybe that wouldn’t have happened if she focused on her album rather than politics,” he added. “Beyonce fans need to be honest about her lack of marketing. She needs to also take some business notes from Ms. Fenty on how to promote her businesses. I wish Beyonce the best…”
