“Frasier”: Get a First Look at Season 2's Starry Guest Lineup — Including Peri Gilpin's Return as Roz! (Exclusive)

The good doctor is back — and with some famous friends!

In just a week, Kelsey Grammer will step back into the iconic role of Dr. Frasier Crane for season 2 of Frasier,which premieres on Sept. 19.

While the Paramount+ revival’s first go-around welcomed back two familiar faces — Bebe Neuwirth as Dr. Crane’s thorny ex Lilith and Peri Gilpin as his former radio show producer Roz — this new season promises a star-studded lineup of guest stars to help keep the laughter flowing, including Patricia Heaton, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rachel Bloom, Amy Sedaris, Carol Burnett, Harriet Sansom Harris, Edward Hibbert, Dan Butler and Kelsey's daughter Greer Grammer.

Gilpin is also set to return again in the same role that made her so beloved with fans.

Below, PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at the celebrity guest stars appearing on the comedy in the coming months.

A Casual Toast

In the season 1 finale, Roz (Peri Gilpin) paid Frasier an unexpected visit during his Christmas party but decides to stick around Boston a little longer.

Here, the former producer returns for season 2 and finds herself locked in conversation with Eve (Jess Salgueiro), Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott), Holly (Patricia Heaton) and Frasier.

Talk to the Hand

Heaton's appearance on Frasier marks the first time she and Grammer have been onscreen since their 2007 Fox sitcom Back to You.

This time around, the two-time Emmy-winning actress plays Holly, a "down-to-earth" and "unpretentious" Boston native who tends bar at restaurants and events.

Turning the Tables

While Frasier and Holly may have different backgrounds, Frasier is intrigued by (and attracted to) Holly, who isn't easily impressed by intellectuals.

Sharing a Chuckle

Amy Sedaris portrays Dr. "Doc" Stathos, a municipal therapist with a down home, scattered veneer who works with the firefighters at Freddy's firehouse. She also happens to be a huge fan of Frasier's from his radio show days.

What a Surprise!

After Olivia (Toks Olagundoye) name-dropped her sister several times during season 1, Monica (Yvette Nicole Brown) finally pops up this season. But she may be in for an unexpected surprise or two.

Deliciously Devious

Once described on the original NBC sitcom as "Lady Macbeth without the sincerity," Frasier's agent Bebe Glazer (Harriet Sansom Harris) was arguably one of the show's smartest-written recurring characters.

Episode 5 of Frasier sees the delectable return of Bebe with a Bloody Mary cocktail in hand.

Like Mother, Like Daughter?

Bebe's reunion with Frasier includes an introduction to her daughter Phoebe Glazer (Rachel Bloom).

Bloom told Entertainment Weeklyher character is a "very cultured kind of opera fan."

"She and Frasier hit it off in a way that he questions if maybe they're related," Bloom teased.

Being a Father

Grammer's real-life daughter Greer Grammer swings by in episode 6 as Roz's daughter Alice, who recently moved to Providence to study architecture. Alice is apparently eager to catch up with Freddy, even if it means complicating his love life.

While Alice is all grown-up now, that doesn't stop Frasier from being a little paternal and helping her take off her coat.

A Reunion of Radio Jockeys

As host of the Gonzo Sports Show on KACL radio on the original Frasier, Bob "Bulldog" Brisco (Dan Butler) couldn't be more different from the good doctor.

But the two have eked out a begrudging respect, and in episode 8, Bulldog and Frasier reconnect at KACL radio.

Just Like Old Times

In a full circle moment, Frasier finds himself in his old recording booth at KACL radio with Roz, Bulldog and food critic Gil Chesterson (Edward Hibbert), who hosted the radio show "Restaurant Beat" on the original sitcom.
